Dear Folks,

I have 475 visa (my father is main applicant) and living in adelaide now.

If i get accepted to University of Melbourne and also get a student visa, could i have both visas until getting permanent visa?!

No you Can only hold one visa at a time. Any visa you are granted now will cancel your 475. You do not need a student visa to study in Australia if you hold a 475.

As a dependent on your father I think you might be ok if your main address is with your parents and your parents are fulfiling their obligations. Make an appointment with a registered migration agent and see what they say. If you get a student visa you will no longer be on a 475 or classed as your parents dependent and in all likelyhood will have to leave australia after studying as an international student.
