You may need a set top box to get the sound okay.
Our tv was a normal one (not LCD) and we could get vision but not sound unless we connected it through a set top box (which cost about A$30 I think).

Regards,
Karen

Junk..... But if you like TV its OK as you have a UK channel plus a few good good ones - have a look at FOXTEL for a channel listing.

sky will work, but you cant tell them you're in another country otherwise they will cut you off. bring your box, as much cable as possible, and the dish, keep the account active, and buy a satalite finder off ebay for about £20 and youre there. but dont forget it will cost double the price out there (ie if you get most packages at the moment for £45, it will equate to $90... which could be spent better elcewhere....)

With the weakening Aussie dollar it could be more than $90
