Default Sponsorship is approved

My nomination for sponsorship from my employer is approved, I have the I.D. number to put on my Visa application, and all my paperwork together and ready to send to the immigration office in Sydney.

Question. Anyone have any idea how long processing takes for a sponsored permanent residency application?

Hi MedicRob,

Congratulations on gaining sponsorship.

Not sure about visa timelines. I would have suggested you check austimeline.com but the site is still down. Does anyone know if the website has actually moved as it shouldn't be down this long?

Only thing I can suggest is do a search on the forum and see if anyone's posted timescales.

Dolly

Everyone's having the same problem with the site.
I found out the email address of the owner and sent him a message asking what's happened and we'll see if he replies.

Regards,
Karen

Hi there

CONGRATULATIONS, its a great feeling isnt it? My sponsership visa 457 took only 3 1/2 weeks thats including having my xray taken.

And i've heard on here that some only take 2 weeks. Sooo hopefully your be holding your visa pretty soon.

That is amazing news. There seem to be so many horror stories on here about taking 10 months, etc. I was worried. I guess a January move date is realistic. Thanks for the renewal of optimism.
