Visa Grant Notification

Dear Forum,

Bula.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all that I got my 176 visa yesterday. After some 38 days of applying, I finally can breathe a sigh of relief. My goal achieved and I have this wonderful forum to thank.

My time line as follows for all intents and purposes:

Dec 1: IELTS exam sat
Dec 14: IELTS results received: W7.5, S8.5, L8 and R8
Dec 21: EA assessment application
Feb 22: EA assessment success letter received
Feb 24: SS Vic application online
Mar 16: SS Granted
April 11: Online application
April 12: Uploaded all documentations
April 20: CO assigned, all documents met, asked for Meds and PCC
April 20: Completed PCC, sent via courier, received at DIAC April 23 Condition met April 24
April 21: Completed Meds, sent via courier, received at Syd Medical Centre April 24, Condition Met May 11
May 16: Visa 176 Granted

A few folks I want to thank by name:

Dreamaus – Thank you buddy. You contributed to my application the most; whether it was a direct response or thru PMs, your advice was always top notch and it made a direct impact on my application and most importantly it yielded results. I just can't thank you enough. The world of forums needs more users like you. I hope you find gratification knowing that you bring joy to individuals whom you don’t even know via the assistance you provide. I hope someday I can thank you in person.

Lifeisgood – Thank you buddy. Your advice thru PMs really assisted me. Your advise was always spot on and it cleared any or all doubts I had. Your prompt response was always appreciated.

Kaz101 and Dolly – your sticky threads were all a wonderful experience. The wealth of information in your posts is a treat to anyone trying to muster the courage to take on the enormous task that is visa application. Although I didn’t communicate with you guys, I almost always found answers to questions I had and for this I thank you.

Moderator _shel – Thank you for help as well. I am an avid reader of all your posts and I still find em’ very helpful. Just wanted to thank you for the work your doing.

And to the many PMs and posts from folks on this forum who I cannot name, thank you all. You all collectively made a small boy from the islands very very happy. This kind gesture I will cherish for the rest of my existence.

Weirdest thing that happened awhile ago people. I informed my sister in Melbourne that I got the visa and as a congratulation she sends me a plane ticket dated for next week…..Jesus…this day just cannot get any better..
