Default PCC and Medicals before a Case Officer is assigned?

All,

Great forum. I regret that I didn't join this forum much earlier.
For some reason I am unable to update my signature with my visa timelines. Hence I am posting below.

I have sent my 176 Online application yesterday. My questions is, can I go for medicals and PCC before a Case Officer is assigned? Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

First of all welcome to the forum!

Yes, go ahead and do your PCC & Medicals, with 176, you should have a case officer within 2 weeks, so you will save time as pcc & medicals can be time consuming.

Both you and your wife must obtain police certificates.

Nope. PCC's are only for people aged over 16 years.

Hi all,
Wanted to know if there will be any impact on validation entry date if secondary applicant front loads PCC and medicals along with the applications while primary applicant does that when the CO asks for one.

Dear Friends , I have query too, I have a CO since Feb-2011 but he didn't request for medical. Can I go for medical now without CO consent? At this stage can we FL our medicals ? Your precious reply will be highly appreciated.
