Question CID Number - time

My Consultant has sent my Engineers australia documents on 26th April 2012 , but till now ( 5.5.12 ) the application fee is not debited from my credit card. Usually how long will it take & how long for the CID Number ??

e mail address is - msa@engineersaustralia.org.au. For once I contacted directly.

I understand that recently there has been a heavy rush of applications and therefore the process is also getting slower.

Anyway it is always better to confirm receipt of your application.

Cheers!

@harry82
Update on my case
CC has been charged on 7th May.
So I guess it takes about one week after receipt of all documents/details at the EA end to get the charges reflected in the CC account.

What about your case

Cheers!

I didn't know that even after sending the application in April ur credit card got charged in May. Why do you guys hire agents? They are actually good for nothing!

I agree. Particularly when forums such as these provide us with mountains of useful information. Experience is a great teacher. Lessons have been learnt. But there are no points for crying over split milk. These are inputs for the future.

Cheers!

As of my case ,application was send from india on 14-April and fee was debited on 18th so one week time to check documents and then fee charging is not correct I think

But as u said these agents are really good for nothing even I m applying through them but I believe all the mind work is being done by me to keep them on their toes.

I think the agents are misguiding you. I had sent the documents on the 10th Apr and they reached on the 11th Apr to EA. I got the CID number on the 16th and the application date is provided as 12th Apr. So I don't think they take so much time to actually start processing.Anyways they will check documents only after they have charged your CC. They won't do anything for free.

I am concerned on the speed they are doing the processing now. Seems like we will receive the results after 4 months in the current speed.
