Exclamation processed further on e visa

Please can anyone answer my question as i am confused and stressed by this whole process and i would not be advising anyone to go through this again. Its the whole unknown and that we are dealing with different time frames. I have a child that should be starting school in Jan 2009 he is 5 in april and i could of started his schooling here last september but i felt 4 was too young but if the visa process continues at the speed its going he will nearly be 6 i am just out of options as to what i should do i have contacted the visa processing center and they said they will look at my case and are medicals and police clearence have been sent since 20 sept and post office in dublin confirmed they were recieved on the 25TH sept we notice on the 30 sept that we had further process noted on are e visa page but do not know what this means. Can anyone explaine what this means. Also are medicals and X Rays are outstanding still. I feel like i am in limbo all the time i am going grey soon i will have white hair arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hi Joanne,

Please remind us - which visa are you applying for?

I didn't do the online visas (we went through an agent) so I can't help answer the question about further process.

Regards,
Karen

Hi Joanne

I know exactly how it feels. We have also applied for our PR visa and have put so many things in limbo waiting for the outcome of that.
Like Karen is asking, what visa type have you applied for? And when?

That's the same one I applied for.

I applied in August 2008 so there's still a way some time to go for me. The average time it's taking for the allocation of a CO is around 8-9 months for a 175 visa. Then you must count another 2 months after that for the visa to be granted if everything is in order. So it all depends when you applied...Are you on MODL? This can speed things up a little bit...

Have you been asked to send your medicals and police clearance or did you send them unsollicited? In any case, these are valid for a year generally so you should be fine.

If you were asked for the medicals and police clearance, then the further processing would probably mean that these documents have been received and are being processed... My guess...but count about a year from the date you applied and you will know about when the visa will be granted.

Good luck with everything

dear jo, as we are only a couple of months in to the visa process im not sure how applicable any info on that would be from me ,, but in regards to your school issues it seems a pitty you are in such an unsure position and short of having a crystal ball there seams no clear time frame,, but on the issue of your child starting school it would be mabey benificial for you to start some home schooling program just in the interim and then enquire as to if it is possible you'r child could attend at the start of the next term,, after october would mabey be throwing him in at the deep end,,, but mabey after christmas,, there arealways new kidds in class after the holidays and the bonds other kidds have are not so tight,, you would at least insure your child isnt missing out on the basic phonic skills that are so relevant at this time, my daughter was four and a half when she started school she was very confident tall and independent for her age so it seemed the right thing to do,, unfortunatly she is struggling with reading and writing and is needing extra tuition so if we had left it longer for her to start school it would probibly of been detrimental for her,, a good learning tool is syntheticphonics.com and this revolutionary system of learning seems to be the holy grail in education right now,, we are only starting it but it will cover everything you need should you decide to stay out of the school system untill your visa is processed..
good luck be patient,, it will be skippy and chips in no time,,
p.s hope you are bot vegetarian.. helena
