Default Where do we start. Help!!

Hi all, I'm new to this site. I wonder if anyone one can advise me. I have done a oneline visa assessment with Australian Visa bureau. They have now contacted me and asked me to contact one of their Visa Bureau Migration consultants. I really want to make sure I contact the right people and don;t want to be ripped off.
Can anyone advise me on this.

Use the DIAC website; they are really the best;
then get a migration expert to support the application.

Get a job offer, or state sponsorship...................

Good Luck
Jane

Hi Bezzy,

If you have the skills I would recommend skilled independent visas Why? Because you can live where you like and do what you like and you don't have to re-apply for a permanent visa. Yes it takes longer up front but once you're here, you're here. And yes that's the route we used

There are different visas to get in (Jane was sponsored) and you need to use the one that suits you.

The "PLEASE READ...." and "Thinking of emigrating..." posts are a great start but all the sticky posts at the top of the forum have useful info.

Check what sort of services you want from an agent since the price will vary depending on what you want. You can always interview several agents to see which one is right for you. Make sure that they are part of MIA or MARA (see links in "PLEASE READ...." post since that way they are registered agents.

Good luck,
Karen
