Default GSM 176 visa Online form questies

Hello Guys,

I am in the process of filling the online application for GSM 176 visa.
I have some queries regarding some fields in the application posted below.
Please help me in that...

Well! In probably the fourth page of the online application form, there is a field for "identity card details"

Details of Identity card or identity number issued to you by your govt(If applicable) for example. National Identity card.

Identity Number: __________________

Country of Issue: __________________

In the above field what should I mention??
I am from India, so Would PAN card number work here?? or shall I leave the field blank?

Another question regarding the mentioning of Dependents and family menbers.
There are three fields to mention that.
1:Migrating dependents
2:Non- migrating dependents
3:Other family menbers

Well! I do not have any dependents migrating with me.
And I have my mother, Father and elder brother in my family.
My mother is a house wife, father has retired from his services and by brother is not dependent on me.
So where all should i mention them in the above three fields.

I guess Parents I can mention as Non - Migrating Dependents
And brother in Other Family members
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Awaiting for your reply guys.
Pls help.

BR,
niks

Are your parents dependent on you for all of their needs and do they live with you? If so put them in non migrating dependents.
If not put them in other family along with your brother. Non migrating dependents need medicals etc.

If this pan card is similar to an identity card put those details in. I left it blank as we don't have identity cards in the uk.

Hello _shel,

thanks for the reply.
Well! may parents do not stay with me.
My dad has retired from services but gets pension and mom is a housewife.
And they are not really dependent on me for all of their needs.

So it would be better to specify them in "Other family..."

And regarding Identity card...so this PAN card is issued by Indian govt to all the TAX payers in India and its almost equivalent to "national identification number".

So I guess Pan card number will work their.

And one more thing just out of curiosity that what other proofs does non- migrating agents need to provide apart from medicals????

BR,
niks
