hello everyone this is my first time on the forum, i would just like to know is it possible to ship my van from the uk to oz with my tools inside or will i have to ship them separately? im just trying to weigh up the costs to see if i should just leave everything here and buy again or to take with me. many thanks.

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum.

If I remember correctly, you can fill your vehicle with 'stuff' as it's wasted space otherwise. I'd definitely phone a couple of shippers and see what they say.

Just make sure that any goods that you pack in the van will be covered by the insurance. We were told that if we packed anything in our car and it was broken then it would not be covered because we packed it.

So check with the packers and with the insurance too.
