Default Claiming 5 years overseas work exp, having only 4.5+ years exp?

Hi,

I have 4 years and 6 months experience working in Singapore. Here, the normal working-hour/week is 44 hours.

Is it possible for me to claim for 5-years overseas work experience from DIAC? Since the benchmark used by DIAC is minimum 35 hours/week.
I know that it is not possible to do so for ACS assessment (I have been assessed on December, to have 4 years 4 months exp).

Or else, since I have 4.5+ years exp, can I round it up to 5 years?

Thank you in advance for your valuable input.

No, the points will be as per ACS assessment, that is for 4 years 4 months, 5 points.

You cant claim more points unless you wait and complete 5 years, get reassessed and claim points ...

All the best

Thanks for your answer varun
That's too bad. It means I have to go for 176 to get additional 5 points from SS. I was thinking of applying under 886, but my occupation is not listed under 886 SS it is listed only under 176 SS...

Btw, unrelated to my earlier question but maybe it can help other people:
I read in other post, that once you already got your assessment, you dont really need to get reassessed to claim additional work exp (provided that you are still working in the same company). You can just give your last assessment + last salary slip.

Yes you are right. Even I am in the same situation. Please check the below link in which this topic was discussed.

Reg work experience after ACS assessment

Is it possible to use Victoria SS for 176 visa to apply for 886 visa? Provided that I can fulfill all other requirements for 886 visa.

I am only short of 5 points, and applying for 176 would mean that I will not be eligible for Bridging Visa...

I have sent an e-mail to Victoria government, but would still appreciate any answer from seniors here
