Default B1 visa of any help ??

If one Needs to ultimately work (immigrate) in US - What should be the road map for an IT person (with >10 yrs experience so no more a developer )?

[Since already have a B1/B2 visa (business/visitor) - does it help in any way ]

In what sense does one "need to ultimately work (immigrate) in US"? When it comes to immigration matters, what counts is what is needed by the US (or any other country), not what the potential immigrant needs or wants.

The B1/B2 visa allows you to come and go as you please (as long as you don't overstay your welcome), which gives you a better chance of networking and potentially landing an interview for a job where you could be sponsored. But in the current economic climate, you really need some outstanding skill, talent or experience to justify an employer jumping through the necessary hoops to sponsor your visa.
Cheers,
Bev
