Default Confused with visas

I have a 10 year visitor visa, own property in the US, which gives me 3 months at a time to stay there.

Question: What would be the easiest way to get the long proces towards a green card going? Is it the E-2 route. I receive conflicting advice on the amount needed to be invested in a business and the number of people you have to employ.

Also, after what time with an E-2 can you apply for a gree card? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

1. buy a business ... $200k should do it
2. at least 2 employees
3 there is no path to a green card

Read the stickies at the beginning of the US threads or work your way through uscis.gov.

Property has no influence onimmigration issues; it does not guarantee you entry even with a visitor visa. Do not confuse three months with up to 90 days.

E2 does not lead to a GC. EB5 does.
