Very few visas have minimum qualification requirements. The diversity visa requires that you completed high school (or equivalent), the H1b that you have a degree (or equivalent experience) and there is a special allocation for those with a master's from a US institution. The US does not have skills-based immigration like, for example, Canada or Australia but rather a niche-based system.

From what you've written so far, you wouldn't qualify for an H1b. But given that these are so scarce anyway, that's not much of a loss.

First, where are you from? If you are from the UK, the diversity visa (green card lottery) isn't available to you.

Your absolute best bet is to get EDS to transfer you to a project in the US. I know EDS used to transfer people internationally because they sent one of my friends to Frankfurt for two years.

The second best would be to look for a company to sponsor you, but even those visas are limited.
