Default My gf wants me to stay and i dont want to do anything illegal.. advice would be handy

I´ve been in a serious relationship with an american girl for the last 2 years, she often comes out to see me in Spain and this is my third visit to the United States to see her. Last week she asked me to marry her and scince i love her I said yes .. she wants me stay and assures me that I will not be doing anything illegal once we are married as all she has to do is sponsor my status. I have a hard time believing this. She works for a theatre copany in vegas (the wedding would be in Wyoming by her family) and some of her co workers also assure me that this is fine legal and happens all the time. I was under the impression that after we get married i´d go back to europe and the paper work would be processed and only then would i be able to live here with her legally ¿ also i´ve run my own consultancy company for 2 years now and its all done online .. if it is legal for me to stay here once i´m married would it be legal for me to carry on operating my business even though all my clients are in Spain and France ¿ I´m getting conflicting advice from her co workers and the internet. I want to marry her but i´m afraid i end up doing something illegal and it will get us into trouble. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated and i apologise for spelling and grammar.

Kind Regards
RodGarcia

Well its not their neck on the line ...nor are they lawyer ..always but always ignore the advice of well meaning friends.

You could use their method..but its not the approved one
that will let you sleep... it can fail ...

get marries on the visit ..no problem ..go home ..she files for a CR1
your return 8 months later with green card sorted and everybody happy

I have a friend who is living and working illegally in Boston..... she has the most miserable life..... she can't return to England for reasons I can't talk about....she has the most miserable life in Boston!
She has recently married a USC...(For love, not a visa) and is afraid to submit immigration applications in case she gets deported.
If you want to do things properly, go home, submit your application, and wait for a few months... and live happily ever after!!
It seems like you want to do things properly...... I wish you the very best of luck.
