Second step of moving

Hi,

My wife got US citizenship at the begining of the year through her father being a US citizen.

We put the house up for sale and eventually it has now been sold. We are going into rented until hopefully we can move.

Am I right that the first form we need to fill out is the DS-230-I. Once that has been received we will here from the embassy for the next step.

If anyone has been through this process any help or advice would be much appreciated.

On my part I have no skeletons in the closest, no police record and in good health.

I'm assuming you're in the UK. You don't say.

If so, wife needs to file I-130 to stat the process. Follow the instructions here:
USCIS: Instructions for Filing an I-130 & I-360

Takes 6 months or so beginning to end of the process.
