Default Getting the wheels in motion for my life...

I've always wanted to go (and probably live) in America. I've got one more year left on my Bachelor of Arts degree (Graphic Designer). And then I want to see what I can do about emigrating asap. I want to go as soon as possible, as I dont want to get too settled in the UK (house, wife, car etc). After my degree I have NO TIES, Im a free bird so to speak. And that's when I want to start mobilizing my dreams (if possible).

I sent off for a free emigrate magazine which came today, I read about the visas and such and the heart warming success stories. Interesting indeed. The EB-3 visa looks a viable option.

But I thought i'd ask here. Is it viably possible for a young (21-22) QUALIFIED & Skilled guy to move over so early to make a new beggining? Or would I have to stay in the UK for a bit. Obviously Im new to this...area, so im not so sure.

Can a BA Hons qualified, freelance graphic designer, start an exciting new life so soon?

A BA Hons qualified, freelance graphic designer needs a visa first.

Have you read up on EB3 requirements? Labor certification may be your issue. How is an employer supposed to explain to USCIS that he cannot find a brand new graphic designer who is authorized to work in the US?

EB5's great. Just find an employer to sponsor you, then wait half-a-dozen years or so for your visa number to become current....and you'll arrive with a green card and be able to start work! Never say never and all that.....but it's not much of a plan.

Unless he finds an internship oder a way to go to school which means limited time frame of US stay - I see no realistic way short of marriage. Do you?

Don't try sarcasm when you're tired since typos ruin it....seems to be my lesson for the day! Yep, for EB5 read EB3.
