Default US Spouse Visa, question...

Hi All,

After careful discussion with my wife, we have decided I will be applying for a visa to join her in the US. Question is, whilst this is being processed is there anything from stopping her spending time with me in the UK? The time scales for me going to the US are longer than the UK equivalent, so technically on a visitors visa she could be with me for the 6 months whilst the US visa is being processed. Just wondered if there is a set of rules which would prohibit this.

Thanks in advance,
Mike
