Default Visa Advice Needed

Hello Everyone!
Im an American and in the past year I was trying to move to France for personal reasons (BF lives in France). Since this has become a challenge my serious boyfriend and I discussed and we want to try to get him to live and find work here in NYC.
He speaks english and is educated with great professional experience.

Is it difficult for him to come to the US? Can he get a visa through me to live here and work? I have no idea if we can do this but I wanted some information and advice on ways to get him here and to apply for work without problems.

Thank you to all that can help me out in advance!

I'm not an expert but it depends what qualifications your boyfriend has, what work experience, how long for.. etc

The only way he can get a visa "through" you would be via marriage. i believe.

i'm still in the research process, so i am sure someone else here can correct me if i am wrong or supply more information.

good luck

Start your resaerch here - uscis.gov and travel.state.gov

He can go the route investment, intercompany transfer, sponsorship through US employer or sponsorship through US spouse.

The only visa he can get 'through you' is a spouse visa i.e you have to get married.

Apart from that he would need to find an employer to sponsor him for a work visa, or he could invest in a company for an investment visa, or if he works for a company with offices in the US, an intra-company transfer.
