Default Seeking advice ASAP

I am moving to the California with my husband who has a H1B Visa, which gives me the right to live but not work in the US. I am currently a marketing consultant working for a marketing agency in the UK and I am wanting to continue my work with them when I move. I am looking into setting up at limited company in the UK and work with UK contracts i.e. work for UK contract and get paid in the UK but work from my home based in the California. Can anyone give me the 'Right' advice on whether this is allowed or not as I am getting very mixed messages and really need to know my best approach here. Eagerly waiting for your help!

If you have not yet read through some of the posts dealing with the same issue - H1B spouse is not eligible for employment. Providing services for compensation is considered work according to IRS.
