Question HI b Petition

HI all,
Hope you are doing good.

I recently received H1 B petition from my company in India. I want to fly to USA asap. Is it that I need to get a stamp from my company? Or I can avoid getting a stamp from here and directly apply for companies in USA. Please guide me .

Thanks.....

double check - h1b cap has been reached. then read up on h1b on uscis.gov. it is tied not only to a company but a very specific job within the company. y

you can apply for jobs but your visa will be of no help as you cannot bring it with you so to say.

As I posted - H1B is tied to a specific position within a specific company.
