Default Eligible to stay?

Afternoon all,

I have found loads of great infomation from this site, but now my head is swimming with questions.

My partner (UK citizen) has been offered a position/job in California and so will presumably have a EB2 visa.

We have been together for 12 years but are unmarried and so I think that means that I will not be eligible for the dependant visa? And so my only option would be the tourist visa? And I could only stay for 1 year?

Sasha

Marriage is the easiest option. B2 co-habitation is a possibility - no employment! If you are eligible for VWP you have the option of up to 90 days with periods of UK stay or B2 which will allow up to 180 days and a potential extension to one year. Your partner bein in the US may be an issue.
