In Taipei I used TEALIT after being frustrated by hostels<dot>com.
Is there a similar site for the US?

I bought a huge house across from Arizona State University and want to make it available to students and other folks needing housing short-term or long-term comfortable/clean/safe/convenient/furnished/all inclusive/flexible term/minimal cost/maximum enjoyment/all the comforts of home while you're not.

Presume it's ASU Tempe rather than ASU Downtown or ASU West?

Yep, the room is across from ASU Main (Tempe, AZ)
I find the atmosphere, food and people are nicer here in Tempe, (rather than Phoenix or Peoria). There's vegitarian food options, inexpensive nightlife, good shopping, free bus, tons to do, but also clean nice neighborhoods with lots of parks (and of course the new light rail). -Makes you almost forget it's an offbeat town in the middle of a desert. ;P
