So, do I sign up with a recruitment firm? apparently they can take up to 1/3 of your pay! but it'd mean I'd have a job lined up when I go over there..

Also I'm planning on living in West London.. but do I do supply teaching, or something long-term or permanent?

Ah, decisions decisions... advice appreciated!
Whoaaaaa .... recruitment companies in the UK dont charge the employee, they charge the employer! Do not pay a recruitment company. You basically register with them and they match you with jobs available.

Are you a brit passportholder? Do you have to get work permit etc?
