Now that I know a bit more I would look more at the Business Analyst CRM roles. It's hard to say if the pay is better. Yes, on an absolute numbers standpoint you will do better in AU. But from a standard of living standpoint you may not.

Do the calculation of the following for a check:
1. Cost of purchasing a 2 BR Flat within 15 kms of the city center in the city you live in now and the same for the prospective city in AU
2. Cost of food for 1 week in the same place
3. Cost of schooling for children in the same place
4. Cost of owning a car in both places (+maintenace+insurance)

You'll come up with some number/month in both places. Multiply by 12 to get the annual figure.

Now what salary will you need in both places to support that. The big deduction will be income tax. In AU most people in IT fall into 23-27% effective tax rate so to get your take home pay do (gross salary * (1-x)) where x is .23 to .27. Compare that annual figure to your expected costs in both places.

So then you'll get a better idea of which place will be better.

Also note there will be some new costs when moving to AU that don't exist for you in India (i.e. flights home annually or every other year, for most this tends to be between 2-4 weeks of salary, for families 4-8 weeks of salary).
