An FMT visa (Visitors/Travel) is normally valid for a period of 6 months from date of issue. There may be extenuating circumstances that limit the validity of an FMT visa to less than 6 months. The FMT visa is available directly from Mexican immigration service, any Mexican consulate/embassy location or from "international" travel agencies that handle Mexican travel business. Some travel agencies are "domestic" travel only and/or may not handle travel business to Mexico; therefore, they would not have FMT visa applications. Rosi should check with her local travel agencies in the matter of the availability of the FMT visa.
