With all due respect, may I suggest that you obtain a Visitor's Visa (available at most international travel agencies) and valid for 6 months, before taking the "big plunge" on a long distance relationship? I was burned (taken advantage of) by a Columbian senora who tried to coerce (talk me into) obtaining a K-1 Visa (fiancée) in the US so that she could get to Miami, Florida to marry a man who was a non-resident alien! Please be careful in this matter!
