CNN is probably your best bet - and for that you only need to find someone with satellite tv. (CanalSat or TPS) Democrats Abroad usually runs big election night parties - but in France there is no local chapter in Lyon. (Closest seems to be Strasbourg - fancy a road trip, perhaps?)

Actually, I'd be surprised if the French channels (France 2 or TF1) don't have some pretty intense coverage election night. They normally don't announce these things until the very last minute.
