Here in the states, jobs are scarce as well. But jobs in the Health field are always needed. I worked for many years as an Executive Secretary/Administrator for a Mortgage & Large Title company (the legal work normally done by Lawyers) and when my Father got ill with a stroke and then died of cancer, I cared for him and found a nitch doing Senior Care. I find families are too busy and outside care is more welcomed by the seniors then leaning on their own children to help them with errands & chores and even personal needs. I know the health system in UK is very good, so is there a need for Senior Assistance? Hospice impressed me tremendously too and I have considered working in that field...is it used much in England?
