Default Old-age pension....how is it calculated for only 3 years of service?
Very helpful post Bev!

I am trying to understand how I would receive my French old-age pension when I am 62 or older. I would likely NOT be living in France at that time and I would likely only have paid into the system for 3 years or so. It seems that I would definitely be entitled to some payout but I cannot see the mathematical formulas to determine the monthly payout.

Has anyone researched this (3 years of paying into the system) and/or receiving a benefit when living outside of Europe?
