It seems like your wasting everyone's time. Wait until a couple of months down the road from when he will be there and start the process. I personally wouldn't look at his resume if i found out he wouldn't even be around till 9 months. Companies change outlook/needs all the time and no one can say that the hiring situation will be the same in 9 months. BC is nice, lived there for a few years, but always found it harder to find a job out there. I would keep some secondary options open like Calgary and Toronto just incase. Although i do prefer a BC lifestyle.
