I hope it's okay to sort of butt in, but i was wondering if you could share your experiences in Chaing Mai and especially Penang. The reason I ask is because my wife and I plan to relocate to Penang for early retirement, but at one time we had looked at Chaing Mai also. Could you share the good, bad, and ugly about the places and maybe share the basics on the your cost of living experiences? As you know, this research is a never ending process, but it all helps.
