Hello,

My husband and I are moving to Lyon, from Paris, the end of June. We are leaving Paris because after spending years in Munich and Zurich, we prefer the "Million Man Village" feeling over that of a large city (my husband is an original Parisian and I am American/German).

We are so happy to be moving to Lyon because we love it but honestly, we don't know that much about Lyon beyond what you can research on the web and in books or discover over the weekend.

His company is providing us with a relocation agency that will help us find a flat but we do have many questions about the best place to live (somewhere quiet please), expat events and music festivals. We would also love to find a hiking club and a meditation center.

We would appreciate any tips on the above themes and look forward to discovering our new home.
