Can we hire a can without a local address?
I would say yes. There are tens of thousands visiting/touring Canada yearly with no permanent Canadian address. I would say, however, that flights from UK arrive here usually in the afternoon. I would certainly book a hotel for your first night.
Can land and gain entry to Canada without giving an address on our landing (or equivalent) cards?
I'm a little confused. Are you coming to "land" as in getting your PR card then return to the UK?" If so, you will not need a Canadian address.
I know from flying to USA you need to give the place you are staying on your green entry form.
Thanks.
Mike.
