Hi Georgie and Steve,

There have already been some questions (and answers ) on Adelaide andif you use the search facility (third link from the right on the first black background row) you'll see that info too.

The Adelaide CBD (Central Business District) is fairly small in that you can walk across it in about 30 minutes. It's surrounded by parks and there are a lot of places that are commutable from Adelaide.

Have you checked out the "PLEASE READ...." sticky post towards the top of the forum? That has links to jobs, property, weather, schools and heaps more and it a good way to start investigating an area.

Where to live: What are you looking for? What is right for one family may not be right for another.

We (me and my husband) were in Adelaide over the weekend for a wealth conference and I had forgotten how beautiful it is. The churches (and I'm not religious) are beautiful and the parks. The traffic wasn't great but where we live in Mount Gambier 6 cars in considered a traffic jam and we did arrive Friday afternoon at rush hour.

I don't live in Adelaide but Mount Gambier is part of South Australia so I may be able to help with any questions there - just put them on the forum and someone will answer them.

Regards,
Karen
