I think you must be a little confused and perhaps don't understand my post - I was trying to give Kimig some general advice on buying in Turkey and some of the pitfalls as I see them and as I have noted from other people's experiences.
I do firmly believe that the whole friendship/estate agent thing is a big issue. People are so impressed when they come here to be treated to meals and nights out by their emlak (and it is very common) that they quickly build up a feeling of trust that may be misplaced - the boundaries between a professional relationship and friendship are blurred. This leads them to make decisions they may later regret.
We have all heard the horror stories (God knows I hear enough of them) and I think it is good advice to keep your relationship with your estate agent on a "friendly" but professional basis.
