Im not sure what you mean.
In general its better to either change them through a reciprocal UK/Spanish bank such as halifax, or use one of the commercial money changers such as ITT Moneycorp or HIFX. For smaller amounts Sun-pay
Changing at "thomas Cook" or as a one off at the bank is always going to be a worse rate
