Hi Peggy
We find the cost of living here quite high so you may need a good bank balance to keep you going. It is Ayrshire that we live in when were you planning to move over.
There is a few private let propertys but these can be expensive and may not accept pets. If you choose to live in a rural location a car would be better for commuting but not essential as there is plenty of buses.
