Traffic is a big problem around that area and if you want to avoid then you should Jumeirah which would be less traffic for you. Some areas for you to think on are also are close to mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha and Sheikh Zayed Road (high rent here).

Dubai has much to offer a young family with so much recreation activity.
