Jiggz,
I am arriving I Dubai next week so forgive me for pretending to know about life in Dubai but I have done some investigation regarding my own family.
You will need a certified marriage certificate from the British Consulate before you can bring a Wife/Husband, you cannot live with your partner and a child out of wedlock, it is not the way of the UAE. I am having to leave my young daughter and new grandaughter behind as she is not married as getting her sponsered would be an imposiblity. I think if you want the job and love each other you know what you have to do!, not to appease the rest of the world but to be together in a country that will enable your Son to have a broader outlook of the ways of the world and you two parents to bring him up together with a better standard of life than in the UK (My opinion only).
