Sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time out there. The thing about young children is that whereever you are it can make life very stressful, both financially and emotionally.

We've got little family near us in the UK, and not having that support network does make life so much harder. How old are your kids, it might well be easier once they get a bit older and self-sufficient.

Might be worth you writing a list of all the reasons you came out and seeing how many still stack up
