True. Just make sure you've got covered money for short term rental, deposit for long-term rental, maybe a hire care for the first couple of weeks and then if you need it buy a car. Food (we did a shop in Coles yesterday - family of 4) and it was over $300. It's normally around the $250 area (we've been here 8 months now and have seen a considerable rise on the food shopping bill). So if you haven't got a job when you move over make sure you've got enough to cover 6 months food shopping (just in case).
