Dont know if i qualify for replying to this as i have still not actually moved yet , although i have the property i still got to sell the Uk one .

But ;

reasons i am getting away is that The UK government are deliberately forcing me away ! For some reason i cant quite fathom out yet

Well many years ago England was the best place in the world , But slowly little by little the cost to live here has shot through the roof through deliberate Tax Hikes most hidden from the average Joe , but there everywhere .

Then they impose New Rules and do this and do that on everything ..

So it is now at the point where i am just ready for the Next thing ie; ID cards and having to fill in a log and submit it to the Government before flying or spending any money etc..

So i feel its not a case of leaving as one of being forced out to make way for the new Generation i guess ?

Final straw for me was when you cant even have a smoke in my town centre anymore ? yet i can get drunk as a skunk whenever 24 hrs a day

Sat down and did some sums and with Council tax costing me £ 40 a week for them to empty 1 black bag of rubbish once a week . And to be told where i can smoke and having to pay a stupid car park fee everytime i want to shop , having to stop just to eat a mars bar etc or talk on the phone .
Then you look at the 50% tax on Fuel and all the other stealth taxes ,
well enough is enough in my book.

So they have won yes i am going and the new generation can keep on funding the Government spending sprees as i wont


Will i come back ? I dont know yet i sincerely hope i dont have to , but who knows if Spain will go the same route ?
