Hi,
I am a 45 year old Australian woman whose children have grown up and am travelling as much of the world as I can. I have been through Central and South America, the Uk, France. I am currently in Switzerland visiting friends and am heading to Italy. I was a student of Italian some years ago and my dream has been to go there and stay for a couple of months to really get my language skills up and immerse myself in the culture. I am finding it difficult to find cheapish accommodation. I would dearly love some sort of family environment, room to rent or small apartment. I am looking at Rome to start with but am open to other areas.
I am a teacher of literacy so could help out with English.
If anyone has advise or ideas I would greatly appreciate them!!
