I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on a query i have regarding our move down under. I have been offered a job and the company are going to sponsor me in Sydney, and me and my boyfriend are going to move out and hopefully include him on my application as a de facto spouse. The problem is we dont live together yet, so will struggle to prove we are a genuine couple. We now have put stuff into same adresses and getting joint accounts etc and intend to move in together in sydney.

I wondered if anyone knew if we could add him to my 457 visa at a later date when we have built up enough for the 1 year de facto rule, or will he need to be on the visa application from the start?

Thankyou in advance if anyone knows? Ive looked for similar guidance but can't seem to find out...
