It very much depends on your standard of living.

I would suggest you use your search machine:

Immobilier Nice studio location

And better get a map ( on Internet ) - Try Mappy of Via Michelin, so you know where they are.

Are you thinking of working there? Then that is quite a different propostion - you will find it rather difficult to get a permanent job in France at a decent level.

If that is the case, do not move permanently until you have a job ( best with a CDI - Contrat à Durée Indéterminée, and this after the trial perid ).
