Cant get a straight answer to this one...

When installing a new electrical supply in a house -

A. Is there a legal limit to the number of cables one can pass through a gaine?

B Can one make a hole in a gaine to allow a single cable to escape in a specific place - obviously, this escapee would be in a gaine of its own..... so another way of asking this question is - can one have junctions in gaines?
