If you're buying 1 vehicle of a popular make then you probably won't make much headway in negotiations. If you're buying several of a less popular model, or one about to be replaced by a newer model then you should be able to get some discount. Best deal I got was a new previous year model when current year shipment was due to arrive (30% off sticker price). Which is not much of a discount since depreciation is about that in the first year anyway.
