I am fluent in French whereas my husband is having to start from scratch at night classes.

Thanks for any help which you guys can give us.

Hi!

Most people will advise you not to move to France, until you have a job - and this means a DDI ( contrat à durée indéterminée) after the trial period.

Even if you are a specialist, there will be always the question of having your speciality recognized - eg. there is certainly a need for language teachers in France, but getting a job - with a decent pay - is quite a different question.
You can eventually get a job at minimum wage for 9 months locally, but afterwards you will have to go elsewhere, and it will hardly be on your doorstep, and the same low salary.

Trying to get a job over an GB company with location in France will be not as tough, as long as you have a EC passeport.
