dear all

I've been looking into moving the family to Australia, (Brisbane hopefully)and have been in contact with two migration agents as suggested to my last post. The thing is, what a week ago seemed really hopeful, is now looking unlikely and I'm doubting we will be allowed a visa to stay in Australia....I don't understand...We are a young family, both educated, no criminal convictions, clean driving license, with a high income...whats not to like?

Because my husband will continue his work outside of Australia and I'm a stay at home mum (at the moment) we don't seem to fall into a visa category because we aren't looking for jobs and we are retired....If I want to train to be a hairdresser then we have more of a chance - Its unbelievable...!

does anyone else have a similar situation that can give me some ideas..?
